Mr. Walter holds a BSc. Degree in Geology from the University of Ballarat, Australia and an MBA from the University of Toronto.

40 years' experience as an extractive metallurgist and senior manager in gold and copper assets world-wide developing both green- field and brown-field sites bringing them to optimum capacity and profitability. He has also provided metallurgical and environmental consulting services to gold and copper mining operations in the United States, Africa and elsewhere.
William R (Rick) Brown
General Manager, South America
Rick Brown has over 30 years management and operational experience in the junior exploration mining industry. Since 1993, Rick has been based in Latin America, principally Peru, Argentina, Brazil and Colombia as well as several other countries. His track record in South America includes the outcrop discovery of the El Hilorico gold prospect in Peru, negotiating the acquisition of Newmont Argentina SA for Aquiline Resources which included both the Calcatreu and Navidad projects and in Brazil he both identified and negotiated the acquisition of the Mara Rosa project. He is currently Vice President, Business Development, Amarillo Gold Corp (TSX.V:AGC) and an independent director of Duran Ventures Inc. (TSX.V:DRV). Rick is fluent in Portuguese as well as Spanish. Mr. Brown earned a BApp.Sc in Geology at Curtin University, Western Australia and an MBA at the Business School, Sao Paulo, Brazil.
12+ years of mining construction and development experience gained through positions with Guyana Goldfields (Aurora Gold Mine), Knight Piesold, Treasury Metals and Forrester Metals on projects in Africa, Australia, Guyana, Peru and SE Asia. Mr. Martin holds a degree in Engineering and Construction from Curtin University, Western Australia.
Dr. Christopher J V Wheatley
Dr. Christopher J V Wheatley, Economic Geologist and Non Executive Director, is on Nubian’s Technical Committee to give expert opinions on properties in the exploration portfolio. Chris obtained his doctorate from Imperial College London and has enjoyed a career spanning more than 40 years in Europe, Africa, Asia, North and South America, having spent time with the Superior Oil Company Minerals Division in Canada and the United States, with Newmont Mining Company at O’okiep Copper Company in South Africa and 20 years with the Billiton-Shell Group in various exploration management positions and managed exploration for the Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Ma’aden). He has peer reviewed many technical papers and has filed numerous NI 43-101 reports across a range of commodities.
